FOODIE FACTS

Foodie Facts
  • We use containers made from sustainable “wild grass” right here in the U.S.

  • We aim to reduce our carbon footprint by composting, limiting our use of plastics, and delivering our meals in a hybrid vehicle.

  • We donate a portion of every order to charity.

  • For every 20 orders received, we volunteer locally for one hour.

  • We do not “haggle” farmers overprice because we want them to be paid well for their hard work.

Our organic meal delivery service is unique. All meals are delivered in special eco-friendly and compostable clam shell packaging made of miscanthus, a material commonly known as Elephant Grass.

These take-out containers are sustainable, all the way from production until they are tossed in a compost bin. They are the perfect, eco-friendly alternative to Styrofoam. Check out the video to the left, or this website, to learn more about miscanthus.
